The Protea Dark Night Aircraft Detection Lighting System (ADLS) provides exact, reliable, continuous transponder surveillance of the airspace of the continent. In our database we store the coordinates of the wind farms that require aircraft obstruction lighting.
Our system tracks the aircraft from the ground level to aircraft flight altitudes, automatically issuing signals to activate obstruction lighting when aircraft are detected.
The aircraft are tracked from take off to landing, we keep an eye on them and our geofence service around the turbines switches the lights on and off at a defined outer perimeter, according to the national regulations.
All transponder sensors feed one redundant cloud based server farm, to ensure a robust and secure system. We process big data in real time for a night without unnecessary lighting.
Certified quality
Our technology partner SeRo Systems operates several receiver networks across the globe.
The Protea Dark Night ADLS is certified by the authorised body AviaCert to be installed in German wind farms without extra flying tests for each installation site.
Protea’s quality management system is certified by TÜV SÜD according to ISO9001:2015.
